Some of the added characteristics on this tyre include solid evolution of Pirelli patented FLASH groove which offers consistent performance over multiple severe riding sessions. The reduced number of lateral grooves means more rubber to the road at mid-lean which also means there is increased tyre solidity and lateral thrust while cornering. The larger slick shoulder area on the Rosso Corsa IV offers outstanding cornering support at extreme lean angles. These tyres have a dual compound layout with wider soft areas for front and rear tyres to enhance cornering grip.
The Rosso Corsa IV comes with the Pirelli stiff chord technology which features a lower end-count and leave wide room for the compound, enhancing tyre conformability and contact feeling with the road. This allows full control even when pushing the tyre to the max.
