The Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR Motorcycle Tyre is able to provide traction on dirt, stability at high speeds, on-road handling agility and grip in all riding conditions due to technological innovations from Pirelli.
The Tyre has been constructed from a new compound which has a high content of Silica. This offers increased grip on both dry and wet surfaces, as well as stability and superior resistance to abrasion.
The Rally STR Tyres have an increased width and length of the contour to make a larger contact patch. This provides improved stability for the rider. The blocks in the tread are longer and wider, and the longitudinal distance between each line of knobs has been reduced to increase the contact patch, without compromising off-road traction. Heat, generated by high speed, is distributed across a wider surface to prevent knob tearing – contributing to the lifespan of the tyre.
