The Pirelli Diablo Superbike Slick Motorcycle Tyre is the jewel in the crown for Pirelli. The tyre of the FIM World Superbike Championship is now available to professional riders / racers – offering peak performance by using pure racing technology and materials.

  • Official tyre of the FIM World Superbike Championship
  • Dedicated to professional riders and to sporting users, looking for top performance on racetracks
  • Compounds and materials are the result of innovative technological solutions developed on the world’s most demanding racetracks
  • Profile ensures incomparable handling and maximum support at high angles of inclination
  • Excellent traction and stability at high speeds
  • High and constant performance lap after lap

The Pirelli Diablo Superbike Slick Motorcycle Tyre has been constructed using a special compound which was developed for use in the WSBK Championship. This Compound offers better thermo-mechanical resistance and a fast warm-up time. There is also a significant increase in the performance and high stability offered by the Tyre, lap after lap.

The circumference of this Tyre has been increased by 2% which offers better distribution of stress and tension, as well as perfection on all trajectories.

There is an optimised Tyre Profile which offers more contact with the ground and maximum traction at any angle of inclination.

These Tyres are available in a range of different compound options:

Front Slick Tyres are available in SC1 (Soft), SC2 (Medium) and SC3 (Hard).

SC1 is the V0952 spec which has been the go-to option for the last two years in the World Superbike Championship and last year in a few prominent national championships such as British Superbike, CIV, CEV and Alpe Adria. It has been developed to provide better performance and riding precision, as well as being versatile.

SC2 is sturdier and quicker when changing direction and is also able to guarantee more support, better grip maximum lean angle and improved absorption of the bumps on the track.

SC3 is the hard option, providing improved precision and quickness in direction changes and more support than the previous standard compound. This option has a high capacity to resist wear compared to other solutions.

Rear Slick Tyres are available in SCX (Extra Soft), SC0 (Soft), SC1 (Medium) and SC2 (Hard).

SCX is a brand new option in the range is available to the FIM World Superbike Championship riders.

SC0 is a new compound which offers increased grip when accelerating out of the corner – along with being more consistent over the race. This Tyre is able to maintain the same hot performance as the previous SC0.

SC1 uses the X0140 spec, capable of guaranteeing a more consistent performance, especially in terms of grip.

SC2 uses the X0639 spec with which Pirelli took 1st and 3rd place in the Bol d’Or stock class. It is able to offer increased grip throughout the corner and on exit. There is also better consistency over race distance and is a very versatile solution in terms of operating temperatures.
