The Pirelli Scorpion MX Mid Soft 32 Tyre has been developed with contributions from the most prestigious of riders in MX Competitions, and are designed specifically for soft surfaces, such as mud or sand and intermediate surfaces such as grass or compact and dry ground (available in standard, minicross sizes and a special Mud version).
The Tyres have a new rubber recipe of a double-layer compound which provides innovative resistance to Knob tearing, impact and abrasion, ensuring that the Tyre is durable. It also ensures the reliability of performance lap after lap during races as it has a maximum resistance to heat and dynamic stress.
They are able to offer excellent traction to guarantee the maximum power transmission to the ground. They have a block arrangement which has been optimised to improve braking stability and cornering side-grip, and front lateral Knobs which guarantee greater line-holding and precision in the corners. The Front Tyre has a V-shape to the layout of the blocks allowing for optimum contact with the ground and stability when braking / lateral support in the bends.
